Name: Nat Safe For Work - because I wanted a pun with my name in it 😂
Officiating since: 2012, as an NSO while with The Pirate Pack (Friesland) and trained as an SO when I moved to PoP in 2014
Favorite officiating memory: Refereeing Team Nederland vs Taiwan at the Roller Derby World Cup in 2025
Favorite penalty: I love to call a leg block because it's so unusual; same with jammer penalties that a lot of jammers don't think they can get (multiplayer blocks!)
Post-game snack: Lemon flavor TREK bars - or if I'm fully done for the day, a beer
Fun facts:
1) My signature 'game face' lipstick is Viva Glam! by Taraji P. Henson for MAC. I've become worryingly superstitious about it
2) The sum total of my playing experience is half a scrimmage in 2011. I hated it 👍
